Starting mobileStorm Inc. in 1999, he pioneered the concept of multi-channel messaging, helping some of the country’s most important brands such as NASCAR, Kaiser Permanente, CVS Caremark, Coach and New Balance Shoes, “go mobile”, delivering billions of messages to over 120 million Americans. He is an inventor and holds a patent on AppMail®, a completely new and secure way for healthcare companies to communication with patients.
Since starting mobileStorm, Mr. Reitzin has founded three other companies, all focused around creating unique mobile experiences. mPulse, a HIPAA compliant mobile engagement platform for the healthcare industry where he plays the role of Chairman, mWatch Media, one of the top media companies focused on providing the latest mobile news & information, and his most recent venture where he is Co-CEO of DUDE, a mobile logistics platform that connects dudes with pick-up trucks, and people who need to move stuff too big to fit in their car.
Prior to mobileStorm, Mr. Reitzin was the founder and CEO of Katalyst Music Group, an independent record label and new media company. He developed the company into promoter for musical acts, and and executed ground-breaking marketing projects for the entertainment community. Mr. Reitzin began his career as a product manager for Interactive Light, a developer and provider of networked sports simulators purchased by such companies as IBM, Microsoft, Sony, and Intel.
Mr. Reitzin has won multiple awards for innovation and entrepreneurship. He is a highly sought after speaker to brands and conferences alike, on consumer engagement in a digital world. He is married with two children, and currently lives in Calabasas California.
