Congrats with your vlogging start! The first one is awesome! Keep up with useful tips! Will be waiting for more!
If Microsoft would make Outlook for Mac, this world would be a better place. Other than that, good advice.
Love the webcam also. Adds great personality and authenticity.
Thanks for the tips! I enjoy this new and dynamic style in blogging. Thanks for sharing.
I loved the idea of vlogging until my logitech camera started corrupting my windows registrey files and everything started crashing. I had to do a new install and wipe everything clean. I am scared to install that camera again, but I definitely want to pick this back up soon. Stay tuned….
Great advice for start up companies and students- I wish I would have known that while I was still in school!
Great post Jared….did you get your haircut especially for your video debut?
Another money saving tip that I use all the time…joining developer communities where you can get free licenses and extended eval licenses. For instance, http://labs.adobe.com/ or http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/virtuallabs/default.aspx . You can often get a beta version with a 6-9 month trial license on these sites in exchange for your feedback. For instance, I just got the SDK for Adobe Creative Suite 4 which isn’t due out until late next year. In some cases you need to register as a developer, but they usually rubberstamp and accept all applications.
Excellent point Michael! And yes, I had to look pretty for my viewers. You didnt see it but the make up team was just out of the frame.
