The iPhone

I finally tried this thing out. Its the coolest device I have ever seen. I was blown away by it. Its the best internet experience I have ever seen. It will open up all sorts of new applications. I would have bought it on the spot, however my biggest issue was the same as everyone else’s, the keyboard. It is so poorly made i don’t see how they could have released this device. Its really impossible to type without hitting the wrong keys. If you are a 12 year old girl, it would be perfect but how many 12 year olds can afford $600? Also it only supports imap, so you can’t completely sync with exchange say goodbye to contacts, task and calendering.
I heard rim and apple are talking, I don’t think this can happen fast enough. Curious to see what version 2 is like.

Hey Jared,
Welcome to the blogosphere! I just got the PR from mobileStorm.
IceMail.com announced something this week regarding running Outlook on the iPhone and having synchronization capabilities. You can check that out here:

Disagreed on the keyboard. It is a work of genius. I don’t care if I type everything wrong because I have fat thumbs, and I literally do type every single word wrong but you just have to keep typing.
Trust me just type away what you want to type without trying to fix your mistakes and at the end of the sentence it will fix everything for you 95% of the time. Great recognition software. It is the fastest and most accurate typing of any other devide out there including the Blackberries I owned.

Bora, have you seen this? http://directorblue.blogspot.com/2007/07/whats-hidden-in-iphones-fine-print.html
Vic, thanks for the link this seems interesting.
The IPhone is like most apple products (don’t freak out on me) it is cute, does neat stuff but is not a business class device. Great for graphical items and being user friendly, college kids with credits cards are going wild I’m sure.
Now if you are a business person that wants to spend $500+ for a phone the T-Mobile Wing is the phone for you! I bought it and I couldn’t be happier. There are tons of applications for almost anything! My bill (hopefully) will go down because the Wing uses accessible wireless internet access points as a cell tower, basically. My Minutes have gone down as far as they website says. I guess I’ll see when I get my bill.
